How to Use the Taxes Report

This revenue assurance report gives details about the taxes charged in the system.

 

Reports > Revenue Assurance > Taxes

 

Users can choose from predefined report periods – today, yesterday, last week, etc. – or select an exact date range from the calendar.

 

Available segments are:

  • Tax Level (Default Segment) – tax level can be federation, state, country or city
  • Tax Federation – federal tax
  • Tax State – state tax
  • Tax Country – country tax
  • Tax City – city tax
  • Tax Rate Type – the type of the tax can be percentage or flat rate

 

It is possible also to view the information only for specific customers.

 

The report has 2 parts – chart and data table.

 

Chart

The chart section supports up to two graphs at the same time for easy comparison of data.

 

The following filters are available:

  • Tax amount (default view)
  • Taxable amount

 

The available slice periods are day, week, and month.

 

Data Table

In the data table section you can view detailed information according to the chosen criteria.

 

The data table can be viewed by several parameters:

  • Segment Totals – total for the selected segment
  • Totals by Period – total by date
  • By Customer – total by customer
  • By Customer and Period – total by period and customer
  • All taxes – shows all taxes used in the system

 

All columns can be sorted as needed and the generated reports can be downloaded in .csv format or emailed.

 

Please note that all results in this report are displayed in base currency.
