How to Use the Failed Calls Report

This report provides detailed information about failed calls for a given period of time.

 

Reports > Usage Reports > Failed Calls Report

 

Users can choose from predefined report periods – today, yesterday, last week, etc. – or select an exact date range from the calendar.

 

Available segments are:

  • Prefix (Default Segment) – the country code (prefix)
  • Endpoint – the endpoint name
  • Country – the country name
  • State- the state name
  • Protocol – VoIP protocol used (SIP/H323)

 

It is possible also to view the information only for specific customers.

 

The Report has 2 parts – chart and data table.

 

Chart

The chart section supports up to two graphs at the same time for easy comparison of data.

 

The following filters are available:

  • Failed Calls (default view)
  • Calls
  • Attempts

 

The available slice periods are hour, day, week, and month.

 

Data Table

In the data table section you can view detailed information sorted by the chosen criteria.

 

The data table gives detailed information organized in the following columns, depending on the Segment and Slice Period filter.

  • Prefix– the area code of the dialed number
  • Destination  – the name of the called country
  • Endpoint – name of endpoint
  • Country – dialed country name
  • State – dialed state name
  • Customer ID – the ID of the customer who sends calls
  • Carrier ID – the ID of the provider, to which the call is sent
  • Carrier name – name of the provider, to which the call is sent
  • Period – the period based on the Slice Period filter
  • Failed Calls – shows the failed calls according the period
  • Calls – shows the successful calls
  • Disconnect cause – the reason the calls ended / failed

The data table can be viewed by several parameters:

  • Segment Totals
  • Totals by Period
  • By Customer
  • By Customer and Period

 

All columns can be sorted as needed and the generated reports can be downloaded in .csv format or emailed.
