Branding

AVAHosted implements branding at several application levels:

 

  • Administration Console branding – service providers can put their own Logo-s on administration console
  • Branding of Invoices – services providers can put their logo or brand on invoices
  • CRM  branding – service providers can customize and brand their CRM portals entirely at their discretion

Agents

The component allows access to powerful agent commissioning functionalities. Agents can sell services offered in specific subscription plans.

 

The functionality allows very granular commission structure with specific commission percent on dedicated charges. Commissions are collected either on reported revenue or on collected payments.

 

Core features include:

  • Manage Agent profile
  • Assign subscription plans to Agent and define custom granular commission percentages on charges
  • Define Agent commissions application structure – based on reported revenue or based on paid invoices
  • Define Agent’s commissioning settlement periods – fixed period, fixed date or manual

Call Zones

AVAHosted introduces the concept of call zones. Call zones are very valuable when granular call categorization and call determination must be made based incoming on ANI/DNIS combinations.

 

The functionality allows service providers to price and rate local calls, intra and interstate calls and international calls separately. This includes rating of Toll Free calls as well as Voice Applications such as directory assistance, custom CLASS 5 applications etc.

Core features include:

  • Possibility to define up to six call zones – Zone 1 – e.g. local calls , Zone 2 – e.g. intrastate calls, Zone 3 – e.g. Interstate calls, Zone 4 – e.g. international calls, Zone 5 – Toll Free calls, Zone 6 – voice applications – e.g. directory assistance.
  • Import prefix maps for ANI/DNIS of individual zones – for example intrastate NPA NXX for USA
  • Configure individual tariffs with specific rate for each call zone
  • Allows ANI based billing of Toll Free numbers
  • Tax individually calls from different call zones

Roles and Privileges

AVAHosted implements a role based access control (RBAC) model to restrict access to system features for authorized users only.

This approach allows creation of multiple custom user roles with most granular definition or access permissions to specific objects or activities.

 

One or more permissions to perform necessary operations (create, modify, view or delete) on system objects are assigned to specific roles. Because users are not assigned permissions directly but through assigned roles the management of individual access privileges is a matter of assigning or un-assigning desired roles.

Access roles can be created for various job functions within the organization to map the specific business and security requirements. Multiple roles can be assigned or un-assigned to system users ensuring maximum flexibility and least management overhead at any time.

Core functions include:

  • Create and manage roles
  • Limit number of users who can use specific role
  • Assign access privileges for specific operations on objects – create, modify, view or delete
  • Assign roles to system users to provide desired permissions

Routing

AVAHosted Routing allows for comprehensive configuration of priority based routing and route costing.

The functionality also feeds cost information during the rating process to calculate profit margins and to enhance revenue assurance reporting. The friendly user interface allows service providers to work with familiar concepts and minimum learning overhead.

The core of the routing functionality is based on Route Sets which are independent routing tables and can be assigned to one or more accounts. The route sets enable the granular grouping of multiple routes from various providers and thus allows comprehensive route prioritization mechanisms based on custom combination of the following priority mechanisms: longest match, priority, cost and quality.

 

Core features include:

  • Define and manage multiple VoIP Carriers
  • Configure providers’ gateways or network nodes for protocols, supported codec-s, egress translation sets etc.
  • Upload or export provider tariff rates tables which serve for real time routing and costing of calls
  • Manage egress translation sets and assign to provider endpoints
  • For each translation set create one or more translation rules to match and translate called or calling numbers
  • Review and compare  the routes within a route set through LCR lookup tool
  • Define route prioritization mechanisms per route set: longest match, priority, cost, quality
  • Provision 3rd party VoIP switching equipment: Nextone, Asterisk, Yate etc.
  • Use Traffic reports to determine route and provider performance as well as identify routes issues close to real time.

Revenue Assurance Reports

Revenue Assurance reports provide vital information about the cash inflows and outflows from your business operations as well as information about critical financial parameters such as account credit limits, negative margins from operations etc.

 

 

The reports included in this section are:

  • Transactions report – provides aggregated and detailed information about transactions from custom charges, payments, and adjustments.
  • Critical Balances report  – displays a snapshot view of accounts whose balance has reached a critical configured threshold
  • Receivables Aging report – reveals patterns of delinquency per account and shows where collection efforts should be concentrated.
  • Negative Margins report – provides a real time snapshot information of current destinations for which provider cost is greater than received revenue.
  • Taxes report – provides tax collection data for period of time or segmented by region and tax level.
  • Total Revenue – focuses on the revenues in the system and gives details about all the related financial parameters.
  • Total Cost – focuses on the cost in the system and gives details about all the related financial and technical parameters.
  • Total Gross Margin – provides summary and detailed information about the gross margin for a given period of time.
  • Activated PINs – provides summary information about the activated PINs for a given period of time.

Account Profile Management
